Looks like this came out a few weeks ago when I wasn't paying attention. I haven't read it yet, but I've been waiting for a historical account of #1980s #NYC #hiphop #radio culture for eons, so I hope it lives up to my expectations. As I've said many times, blundering into Mr. Magic's Rap Attack on #WBLS, along with the weekend Mastermix segments on #KISSFM blew my universe wide open. I feel lucky to have discovered it when I did, though my sudden interest in music that no one else on my school bus liked did little to improve my social standing in the 7th grade cafeteria.
