Have I ever traveled somewhere to research a story setting? Where?

First, my fav travel story. Mike & Carol Resnick would go on African photo safaris to research his Kirinyaga stories, which meant he could write off some of the costs. He got a ton of nominations & awards, too.

I have a story in progress based on a Chinese myth and the pagoda where it took place. I took pix there.
