The last of the birdwatching, at least for a while. I visited the three smaller reservoirs of Kirch WMA and stopped a moment at one larger to mark the views and view the birds.

The birds at the reservoirs of Wayne E. Kirch Wildlife Management Area can be a little distant, and even then scrambling away further. I had a loop hike on the roads and trails. (They do exist.)

It was the moment for a little basin time after so much range. I stopped by the Wayne E. Kirch Wilderness Management Area and spent some time with Hot Creek and its special collection of wildlife.
