If you hadn't gathered, we are on the #IsleofMan for a few days. As well as cracking geology (check out the folds in the picture) birdlife (choughs!) and adventures with #kippers we had a brilliant day's cycling. For the evening's entertainment we managed to blag two of the last tickets to see the #Proclaimers in the magnificent Art Deco Villa Marina Royal Hall. A great day indeed!

Rage: Ich höre Supertramp und frage mich was kippers sind (zum Frühstück). Ich suche im Netz nach Seiten und finde nichts. Eine Seite titelt dann aber "kippers for brakfast" aber dann geht es im Text um den ganzen Song und kippers, kennt keiner, Thema erledigt.

Craster, on the Northumberland Coast, is something of a Mecca for connoisseurs of kippers (herring fish that has been cold-smoked).
The small pretty fishing village is also a great place for walks along the scenic coastline to the nearby romantic ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.

I’ve never had kippers for breakfast (mommy dear)

The only tinned fish I’ve had besides tuna is plain sardines (usually straight out of the tin with cheese and crackers)

The idea of smoked fish is appealing! I just fried this one in butter. What are some next level ways to use these delicious herrings?

The #toriesOut have converted from an alleged party of business (always overstated) to a #rightPopulist rabble of ideologues and swivel-eyes - a process made worse by the reversal into their ranks of the #kippers that #cameron failed to deal with, including grifters like #farage - who no longer seems extreme compared to #braverman (tho he is....)

They need a very long spell of opposition with no remission to rid themselves of extreme stupidity

Maybe, before making it impossible for Europeans much like us to come here for a few years to do jobs we prefer not to fill, they should have thought how people from way poorer & more distant lands will not only stay long term (with or without a job) but bring their families as well

I suspect you confuse what the #LOTO is saying before an election with how he will play things after winning one.

May was of course a #remainer as is #starmer , but there the resemblence ends - I cannot see him buying off the #DUP nor taking much note of the #kippers in the #reform party who can only take a minority of #toriesOut which only aids #labour - if there are any #euPhobe #labour MPs they are certainly keepingf their heads down

is effectively a one-policy party in a small country that wants to leave a union - in some lights more like UKIP than #labour

I jest - SNP are centre-left and the #kippers on the firm #right - but having lived in #scotland the nationalism there is commonplace, & more about escaping #englishDomination than far-right racial identity or dreams of #empire

Much more of a rallying cry than attitudes to membership of a supra-national trading bloc

The #toriesOut have nothing left to offer except to their shrinking base of aging #kippers - #starmer will be strolling into #downingSt in 2024 barring an extraordinary event

This #kipperTory party lost its mind when faced with a threat on its right flank - instead of facing down the threat & sticking to the centre-Right - ie mirroring what #labour does when faced with #farLeft entryists (excluding that #corbynite failed experiment) - it sucked the #kippers into their soul & their reason departed

Disagree - the #red wall will return in large numbers to Labour at the next #GeneralElection (if it does not you can kiss goodbye to a majority to improve the #UK:EU relationship)

Mistake to to think of electors as a single coherent group - the #kippers in the Red Wall are not in the main #Labour voters. The winner is the candidate who gets more of her/his supporters voting than any opponent does - it is all about differential turnout.
