I've noticed that the animated Netflix series Kipo is only available until the 25th of June!

Granted, it's been on there for multiple years but I always thought of it as one of those really unique productions that nobody but Netflix would have dared to produce back then.
Dreamworks created it so maybe some deals are expiring... it would be a real shame the show was disappeared.

@literalgrill Well, my favorite show ever is the queer anarchist solarpunk masterpiece that is Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, so probably that. Although I'm a bit conflicted because it is a Netflix original, and I'm not too keen on supporting Netflix.

@alice I'd pick Kipo Oak and 2009 Strawberry Shortcake. They're both guitarists and songwriters (although that's not what either of them is primarily known for), and I think they'd write some lovely songs together.

Did anyone else watch Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts? It was such a cute show. I loved the world building. I loved the diversity. I loved the soundtrack. I thought the whole show was great. It wrapped up really well too, but I can't help but wish there were more seasons. I guess that's the sign of a great show though :blobhaj_hearts:

I recently watched #Kipo, because my cousin is very into that show, and one of the things I really appreciated was the various facets of racism and prejudice that it managed to explore through a PG-rated fantasy lens. Like, there are perfectly good reasons for these hatreds and these conflicts, both in history and in tangible physical and mental differences, but it manages to show the cost of that conflict, and give a reason for resolution.

I felt like it handled it really well.
