It's #worldsocialworkday and I can't think of anything more appropriate I could be doing today! I'm off to the UK's biggest #socialwork convention to talk to #socialworkers about how to talk to children about #fostercare, #specialguardianship and #adoption! I'll be talking about how to go beyond the #lifestorybook when doing #lifestorywork and how to talk to other children in the #family and support network, about adoption, #fostering and #kinshipcare.
The Scottish Child Payment was increased in November last year, the eligibility criteria for Scottish Child Payment, Best Start Foods and Best Start Grant were widened to include kinship carers who had a pre-existing relationship with a child they care for, even if they are not related to the child. #kinshipcare
