As I was looking out of the window yesterday - a surprise visit by a small flock of King Parrots! Didn’t manage to get a photo - so found this glorious male in my archives. They were a bit quick, but I think there were a couple of males, plus a few females and juveniles.

On my lunchtime walk today, I spotted a Golden Whistler, and a Rufous Shrikethrush and one of the local King Parrots (who seemed to think I should have seed, but since I was out on a walk, I did not).

A few birds spotted from the veranda this morning in the space of about 10 mins.
One of our usual Pied Currawongs, who was being attacked by Bell Miners (the yellowy bird on the wire). A male Satin Bowerbird way off on top of a palm tree, and the male King Parrot that has been visiting recently.
