Hands down the best social game played across the web played in years. We've been rolling with laughter all evening.
100 % we're going to be organizing a bigger group to do this, maybe play it on stream. My cheeks are wet, crying from laughter.

Sprawdziłam wczoraj z przyjaciółmi King of the Castle 👑🏰
Nasza pierwsza (i jak na razie jedyna) rozgrywka trwała 2 godziny. Myślę, że nie najlepiej poradziłam sobie jako królowa, bo momentami nierozważnie podejmowałam decyzje i nie zastanawiałam się nad ich konsekwencjami. Czasem warto się zatrzymać na dłużej i przemyśleć "za" i "przeciw".
O co tu w ogóle chodzi? 🤔
Wystarczy, że zainstalowaną grę posiada jedna osoba, niestety wówczas tylko ona będzie mogła wcielać się w rolę władcy i prowadzić całą rozgrywkę (na szczęście gierka jest tania - kosztuje 23 złote na Steam). Reszta osób do kampanii może dołączyć przez przeglądarkę po wklepaniu kodu. Jako królowa Magnolia streamowałam King of the Castle znajomym, toteż mogli oni śledzić wszystkie moje poczynania, a na karcie przeglądarki brali udział w głosowaniach. Niżej opiszę, w kogo właściwie wcielają się pozostali gracze.
W grze jest sporo czytania, momentami wręcz przypomina powieść wizualną. Dlatego obawiałam się, że po pół godzinie wszyscy już będą znudzeni, ale tak się nie stało. Prawdziwa zabawa zaczyna się w momencie pierwszych żarliwych dyskusji i wczuwania się w role wielmożów, których zadaniem jest obalić królową (lub króla) i przejąć władzę. Balansowanie na linie relacji z tymi trzema regionami (na początku rozgrywki wybieramy 3 z 5 obszarów) jest dość trudne. Każda z grup posiada trzyetapowy schemat mający doprowadzić do upadku władcy, wobec czego władca z czasem coraz rozważniej musi podejmować własne decyzje i zwracać uwagę na to, jaka akcja mogłaby się mu opłacić. Co istotne, regiony mogą zawierać sojusze lub walczyć / konkurować ze sobą.
Mam wrażenie, że przez te 2 godziny zaledwie liznęliśmy tę grę. Nawet lista osiągnięć podpowiada mi, że możliwości, scenariuszy i zdarzeń jest całe mnóstwo. Żałuję, że nie ma sposobu na samodzielne zagranie w KOTC, bo czasem zebranie znajomych wcale nie jest łatwe. W przypadku tego tytułu - im więcej osób, tym lepiej. I zapewne śmieszniej.
