Tonight was peak Lizard Wizard. The weekend culminated in a fireball of fuckyeah, picking right up where Saturday left off.
Under the K Bridge was the perfect spot.

Super enjoyed the Gizz Rave set last night. I just think it's an incredibly cool, unique thing they're doing that captures their weirdness perfectly, allows them to be a little more exploratory, is a true collective endeavor, and is just a lot of fun. They've invented something completely new and that's not nothing! One of my favorite livemusic things of the moment.
It was similar to the sets I caught in Europe last year with a couple minor differences. Those shows were almost exclusively high-energy dance jams with the occasional foray to more psych weirdness, last night was more like half and half, which I dug but wasn't sure how the audience did. The show last night was also significantly larger than the indoor shows I saw, so standing in the back felt a little removed from the energy whereas even in the back of those other shows I felt like I was never really far from the "action."
Otherwise... Loved it.

Petite réflexion du samedi matin : pourquoi je n'utilise pas des services comme Deezer ou Spotify pour ma musique ?
Plusieurs raisons.
1. Pour éviter la réduction du champ des possibles
En soirée chez des potes récemment, une playlist a été préparée par notre hôte. On finit par causer goûts musicaux et on écoute les morceaux proposés par les un·es et les autres.
Très peu de mes suggestions étaient disponibles ces plates-formes, même des groupes connus comme par exemple #KingGizzard...
