#Summary for April 2026 https://no-pe.netlify.app/2026-04-summary/
The sequels to Drakan and Kingdom are proper sequels. #BulletWitch is not bad, just mediocre.

I see a lot of people celebrating yesterday’s victory… but how did you find out that I beat #KingdomNewLands?! 😮

🎵 Toss a coin to your peasants! 🎵 This week we ride forth on a wheezy steed to talk about Kingdom: New Lands. The hit commercial sequel to an already hit flash game designed to study horse running animations.
The movement is one-dimensional, but the strategy is anything but!

Happy Friday! Today we have the second VOD for our #Kingdom playthroughs. All in all, I prefer Two Crowns, especially after returning to it years later. I wish there was more of an open sandbox version, but I'm assuming you'd just never leave the island, especially once you close the small portals.
Maybe I just like colony builders...

Fast forward a few months, and here we are around Christmas of 2019, trying out a game I had at this point only heard of, called #Kingdom, which is a 2D side-scrolling tower defense game. These were quite fun, actually! I've even picked them back up here and there on my #SteamDeck recently, they're such gorgeous games!

@mik0e1 I’d never thought of #KingdomNewLands of being like #Settlers before, but now I totally see it!

I also want to mention 4 #roguelike / #roguelite #indie games that were released some time ago, but I only played them in 2023:
#GunfireReborn - it's an Indie #Borderlands, I played 60h in one month
#RiskOfRain - 2D platformer with cool music and atmosphere
#KingdomNewLands - 2D #Settlers-style strategy with tower defence elements
#ChildrenOfMorta - hack and slash dungeon crawler with a very cool story unfolding in the background. All games are highly recommended.

Just played Kingdom: New Lands. Not recommended.
Wow, I love having to replay the same content multiple times because the game is intentionally cryptic and doesn't explain its systems. Confusion isn't a substitute for difficulty, it's just a waste of time.

@yaitorr whenever I have time I'm playing #KingdomNewLands, besides that I'm very much into any #OpenWorldGame

Im #Quickshot nutzt das pixelige Indie-Spiel #KingdomNewLands historische Motive aus der Expansion im 10./11. Jh. zur mythischen Verklärung des Fremden.
