In other news, I’ve been having fun with some new (to me) solo #boardgames and #ttrpg games in between the busy life things going on. I got #Fallout Wasteland Wanderer, a solo TTRPG by #Modiphius and have been having a great time creating and exploring my own Fallout world. The game is fun and the rulebook is well done.

I’ve also been enjoying #KinfireDelve as a quick solo card game. I got one box a few months ago, then saw the other two boxes for a good price at a store on a road trip this summer so I now have the whole collection. Art is fantastic, production is top notch, and each game is a new puzzle.

Lastly, I also ended up ordering #Astroprisma and its various little expansions. Nothing but good things to say about this as a solo TTRPG either. The rule book is great and incredibly stylish, the game has a clear objective, loop, and mechanical structure, all the prompts are compelling, and the tri-fold expansions are very clever and look like they’ll be a lot of fun.

Kinfire Delve is a series of dungeon diving (well-delving) games each following the same system but introducing new heroes and a new villain with each installment. I love the art and design of the cards in particular(the gold inlays on the cards makes things look preem)!

I used to play #rpgs when I was young, late 70s early 80s, but we would also play the occasional #BoardGame. #Talisman was a favourite, #MagicRealm, #CosmicEncounters and others saw some play as well. A few years ago I played #Dungeoneer with a friend, but I've now discovered that there are lots of games that you can play solo, something that will likely suit me. This was incredibly rare back then!
I just ordered #ArkhamHorror the card game and #KinfireDelve for some solo fun.
