Beautiful blue sky this afternoon through the windowed roof of the Kimmel Center.

Less than half an hour until the first performance of the day! This was us about an hour ago rehearsing downstairs in the SEI Innovation Studio. #TubaChristmas #TubaSolstice #Philly #KimmelCenter #LowBrass #FestiveAF

If you're in the #Philly area looking for something unique this #holiday season, consider yourself invited to this year's #TubaChristmas performance on Sunday, December 21 at 1:00 and 6:00 PM inside the #KimmelCenter. It's an hour’s worth of festive holiday music that is both family friendly and free! It may seem like just a novelty act, but once you hear what we do, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Join us! [Shameless plug: I'm playing at the early show.] https://phillytubachristmas.com

#Philly friends: #TubaChristmas is coming back to the #KimmelCenter on December 21 this year! Two performances are scheduled: noon and 6:00 PM. It's super easy to get to via public transit, only one hour long, and it’s free!
If you're looking for some festive #holiday fun that’s just a little bit off the beaten path (and a great way to have your kids hear some live music), this is the place to be. I'll be playing at the noon performance, so feel free to wave vigorously. https://phillytubachristmas.com

Via @waltman, some good #ClassicalMusic news from #Philly. “#MarianAnderson Hall” sounds so much nicer than “#Verizon Hall.”
