Sentirsi come “un Leone in gabbia”. Sentirsi in prigione, provare un senso di insofferenza per una limitazione, di costrizione senza la possibilità di scappare via, lontano.
C’è chi ha vissuto alcune volte nella vita questa condizione, per brevi periodi, chi invece l’ha subita a lungo, per anni; c’è chi invece la deve subire per l’intera esistenza, senza speranza che qualcosa possa cambiare e addirittura pensando che tale condizione sia la normalità. Tra questi ultimi soggetti ci sono infinite schiere di Animali nati direttamente dentro ad una gabbia che li conterrà fino alla morte, senza alcuna esperienza, nessuna idea, di ciò che può esserci fuori dalle sbarre. The No Dump Alliance – made up of spokespeople and members from Traditional Owner groups, was formed in 2016 to fight plans for a high-level international #nuclearwaste dump in South Australia.
The government targetted site called #Napandee, near the town of #Kimba on the #EyrePeninsula. This proposed nuclear waste dump site is strongly contested by people in the farming community and it is unanimously opposed by #Barngarla Traditional Owners.

When I was in high school, I would do my homework in front of the TV. There were shows like F-Troop, Gilligan's Isle, I Dream of Jeanne, #Kimba, Speed Racer, #DoctorWho (Tom Baker), and original #StarTrek I'd seen them so often, I could study easily. Some time during those years, we got a color TV. Until then, I'd imagined the colors on the B&W TV pretty well, and remember not being particularly impressed,
In any case, at that age without the TV I could not study as well. Go figure.
When I started writing, though? No TV.
