One last piece to share before the holidays and a break until the new year. Here's a simple dichroic fused glass pendant. I was thinking of an old mirror, in which the silvering is slowly rubbing away from the metallic backing. To achieve this look, once the piece was out of the kiln and cool, I sanded away little areas of the silver-pink dichroic coating. Back to some kiln fired dichroic glass. This little beauty features strong gold and very subtle pink and silver dichroic tones on a black opaque backing over opaque red.
