I have a #RocketKiln that fires using scrap wood but I've never heard of a traditional wood fire kiln using scrap wood to fire. Typically, people either chop their own over the course of a year or buy cords of wood which can be very expensive. Spent my Easter eating a delicious Danish Kringle with Ali and then made this doodle.

I am excited, its forbidden in a few ways. One of which is the tube sizes, which are fine tuned for brightness. That big bright white 25mm tube is thin lead glass- and it would take awhile to get it as hot as the 10 mm #blacklight tube, which will be made brighter by being the narrowest, most focused part of the arc.

On a bombarder, that would suck the narrow blacklight in. It is possibly the best combination to be bombarded in terms of glass heat sensitivity- buut I have an oven, so its baking out over night so I can make this the first try guaranteed :).

Hooray for Easter! After Minneapolis, I needed a day to sleep, and I still should send some emails, but I wanted to relax, and I feel recharged, -but there is about to be so much commercial bending.
