알비노 수컷 세 마리 째 부레병 증세 보인다. 모두 5월 19일에 태어난 4개월차다. 극복하지 못하면 알비노는 한 마리 남게 된다. 아직 정상인 알비노는 다른 세 마리에 비해 발색이나 크기가 좋으니 이 녀석만 유전을 남길 지도 모르겠다.

자꾸 수표면에 올라가 공기 퍼 마시길래 못 올라가게 격리해뒀는데 도움이 될 지는 모르겠다.

집에 돌아오니 오래 살아 덩치 컸던 암컷과 수컷이 나란히 죽어 있었다. 머리 없는 붉게 익은 새우도 발견했다. 킬리피시는 몸에는 물곰팡이가 피고 부어올라서 바로 폐기하고, 새우는 비린내 안나길래 새우항에 먹이로 줬다.

배가 고파서 열심히 사냥했는지 수조 바닥의 실지렁이 모두 깔끔하게 사라졌다. 수초도 깔끔했다.

며칠 간 수시로 먹이 달라고 보채서 먹이 자주 줬더니 금세 수초에 양양 낀다. 새우항 먹이와 수시로 수초 교환해줘야겠다.

알을 갈무리했다. 알 제법 보이는 걸 보니, 역시 길어도 몇 주에 한 번은 갈무리해야 보전이 가능한가 싶다.

아마도 올 해 3월생인 수컷은 한 마리만 남았다. 죽은 녀석들과 같은 크기이니 이 녀석 수명도 얼마 남지 않았을 듯. 다 크면 크기 비슷하지만 암컷이 더 늦게 성장하고 오래 사는가 싶다.
