#KillerFeature - jde zapnout posouvání kurzoru v textu pomocí kapacitní vrstvy klávesnice!
Taky nesnášíte hamtání na displeji doprostřed písmenek, abyste pak ten debilní kurzor ještě 4x přesouvali, než se opravdu trefíte tam, kam je třeba? 😁

Ah, yes, the Therac-25 incident... because who doesn't enjoy a quick jaunt down memory lane to when a software bug was (literally) a killer feature? 💀🖥️ It's like the article took a wrong turn into a time machine and forgot to get out, leaving us with a listicle more scrambled than an amateur coder's first Python script. 🙄⌨️

The network permission in #GrapheneOS is such a #killerfeature. No need for a battery consuming #firewall.

I've been using @calyxos - a #privacy focused #Android variant - on a device for several months now, and it's fantastic, and just works - no small achievement. But one unexpected #killerFeature they've added is "Work Apps" which lets you set up separate copies of apps like, say, your email or chat, and enable/disable them at the click of a button. SO GOOD. When the day's done, I cut mains power to all work notifications + add just a little friction to me checking work stuff. Brilliant.

You know what would be a killer feature? A feature that shows you exactly what has changed after each OS/app upgrade, and giving you options to undo those changes if they are optional, or otherwise explaining the rationale/usage tips for the change.

“Nice 'town square' you (meaning *I*, musk) got there.
Shame if something *did* happen to it... ” 💩️😆️The point about *public* service information only being available to those *registered* with the musk corporation should give our civil servants food for thought.
Also, there are some niche areas of policy debate that I have at least been able to view w/o log-in (no engagement of course). Now all that is said in the musk cesspool, stays in that cesspool. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

- There are no #groups, which were a #KillerFeature for Facebook.
- No #BirthdayReminders.
- Most people don't use their #RealNames, so it all feels impersonal. Well, it's all well and good to be a #nymian and choose your own real name, but at least be consistent then, and not have a name for #Mastodon and another for #GitHub and #LinkedIn.
- People aren't sure what to post. Most post links and thoughts. Very few personal diary/updates and selfies, although those might be nice.
