I tried very hard to obscure the fact that he was looking down at a cell phone to make the photo more old-timey. But I would have been better served in trying to frame something more interesting in the rear view mirror. Also first experience with FX-39 II developer and super impressed with the grain control, almost too clean for my taste (probably doesn't come through after the jpeg export and upload shenanigans).

I tried very hard to obscure the fact that he was looking down at a cell phone to make the photo more old-timey. The colors are very rich and bit wild with the Harman Phoenix color film reversal. Getting a hang of how I'd like to do the edit so the character still shows while controlling for the light source and scanning. I think that the "White B&W" light setting (5000K) with the same color balance on the camera might be the ticket for the most part. I'll be more meticulous with the next roll I shoot with the intent of color reversal, possibly this weekend.

Test roll during sunset that got unexpectedly cloudy so I had to go with a slower shutter than what I could steadily handhold; combine that with quite stale chemistry and I did not think anything would turn out, glad something did.
