Plants are good teaching mechanisms in learning to let go.
Every time a plant dies, and they will, I feel a touch of grief. I have put time, love, and great effort into keeping this thing alive, and it is a life, sometimes for years. So when it dies, so do my efforts, if not my love and care.
You can't sit with an empty pot of dirt in your home forever, nor should you sit in your grief.
