  1. It's Friday! A new episode is up! And this week we're combing two old themes:

What Kids? What Hall? - Part 2
Not Your Typical Grunge Playlist - Part 7

#Seattle and #Toronto combine forces to show off the coolest parts of the #90s!

This one is so loud, it blew the left speaker in my headphones!

And as always, it's free to listen with no sign up required! Just hit play!

  2. I used to can't stand #TheKidsInTheHall - when it aired in the 90's. I didn't really pay attention to it, TBH. My "University years" were circa 1991 - 1997 commencement. But now? It's funny as heck to me! Yeah, yeah you get tired of me saying "brain damage", but i'm telling you. Brain damage isn't what you'd expect it to be. It's very very very terrible. And nothing about it makes any sense.

But that guy was talking about all the "sad people". He said, they only people sadder than the "sad people" are the "happy people", and he went on a bit about why the happy people are the saddest of people. He narrated a bit more and decided that truly the saddest of people were indeed neither the "sad people", nor the "happy people", but alas the Village People.

The Village People, he concluded, are the saddest of people. #ohCanada #CanadaTV

  8. If you've lost or left behind a friend, even a shitty one, over all this bullshit... If you miss that person in all their shittiness... I feels ya.

Was watching #TheDessert, new show from #BruceMcCulloch of #KidsInTheHall

It's funny, and twisted. It's the same comedy, but without any kind of censorship. I'm actually mid-decision about what I think of that, but holy shit, it's funny. Funny is always funny.

The sort of thing we would once have watched together, him and I, risking heart attacks.

  9. “Having an average weekend” by Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet (the theme from Kids in the Hall) is the song my 2 month old daughter has heard the most in her life because I watch Kids in the Hall when I’m feeding her. #KidsInTheHall #ShadowyMenOnaShadowyPlanet #Dad
