Het Zuid-Koreaanse KHNP heeft aangegeven niet meer geïnteresseerd te zijn in het bouwen van nieuwe kerncentrales in Nederland. Daardoor blijven er nog maar twee potentiële bouwers over. Een van de drie beoogde bouwers van de twee nieuwe kerncentrales die het kabinet wil laten verrijzen, heeft zich teruggetrokken. Dat heeft minister Sophie Hermans (Klimaat en Groene Groei, VVD) maandagmiddag in een brief aan de Tweede Kamer laten weten.
