#Crimea roughly 26 times smaller than Texas & not located “in the middle of the ocean” — it's a [bloody] peninsula in Black Sea, around 27k sq km in size. It the same size state of Massachusetts or Haiti
Crimea is connected to Ukraine by land, where it meets #KhersonOblast, which Russia partially occupied since 2022
As well as #BlackSea, the #peninsula lies on western shores of #SeaOfAzov
