📣 Razem z szeregiem dużych organizacji jak: Sieć Obywatelska - Watchdog Polska Wolne sądy, Greenpeace Polska czy WWF Polska mówimy jasno:
‼ Nie zgadzamy się na ograniczanie obywatelskiego prawa do sądu.Jak słusznie zauważa Pracownia na rzecz Wszystkich Istot prawa międzynarodowe nie podlegają negocjacjom.
#PrawoDoSądu #ObywatelskieNie #KGW #Demokracja #Praworządność🛑Wspólnie z szeregiem polskich organizacji pozarządowych odmówiliśmy dziś udziału w spotkaniu dotyczącym projektu jednej z ustaw deregulacyjnych (tzw. Lex Brzoska), który to projekt odbiera organizacjom społecznym prawo do sądu w II instacji w postępowaniach administracyjnych. Prawo do sądu jest nienegocjowalne!
Zaproszenie do rozmowy zaproponowała Ministra ds Społeczeństwa Obywatelskiego Adriana Porowska. Za sam projekt ustawy o zmianie ustawy Prawo przed sądami administracyjnymi (nr UDER32) odpowiada resort sprawiedliwości.
📢We wspólnym stanowisku NGO, podpisanym między innymi przez takie organizacje jak Watch Dog Polska, Wolne Sądy, Frank Bold, WWF czy Greenpeace Polska, organizacje oczekują wycofania projektu, ponieważ ogranicza on społeczeństwu prawo do ochrony środowiska oraz prawo do sądu, jest także niezgodny z prawem polskim i międzynarodowym.
💬„Informujemy, że jednoznacznie sprzeciwiamy się proponowanym zmianom w art. 173 p.p.s.a. Nie mamy żadnych wątpliwości dotyczących przygotowanego przez Ministerstwo Sprawiedliwości projektu. Jego treść jednoznacznie interpretujemy jako rażąco sprzeczną z Konstytucją RP, prawem UE, oraz Konwencją z Aarhus. Oczywistym celem tego projektu jest znaczące ograniczenie dostępu do wymiaru sprawiedliwości społeczeństwu reprezentowanemu przez organizacje społeczne (...) Tak fundamentalne wartości i prawa, jak dostęp przedstawicieli społeczeństwa do wymiaru sprawiedliwości, nie podlegają jakimkolwiek negocjacjom i samo proponowanie zmian prawnych, zmierzających do ich ograniczenia, jest niedopuszczalne" – napisaliśmy we wspólnym stanowisku.
Do godziny 9 rano stanowisko poparło 8⃣9⃣ organizacji społecznych. Przypomnieliśmy, że rząd Koalicji 15 października obiecywał przywrócenie praworządności. W umowie koalicyjnej zapisano: „Organizacje Trzeciego Sektora nie mogą być pomijane i marginalizowane”. Dlaczego to ważne?
‼W sporze między inwestorem, który chce prowadzić daną działalność: chlewnię, betoniarnię, lakiernię czy apartamentowiec a społeczeństwem, które obawia się o swoje zdrowie czy środowisko, interesów ludzi i przyrody przed sądami administracyjnymi mogą bronić wyłącznie organizacje społeczne. Mamy więc dziś do czynienia ze skandaliczną propozycją odebrania prawa do sądu społeczeństwu, które nie będzie mogło walczyć o swoje prawo do życia w czystym środowisku. Dlatego nie będziemy rozmawiać o tym, jak odebrać nam konstytucyjne prawa. Żądamy jednoznacznego wycofania się się z tych zapisów. #Brwinów

Many big trees fell. One unlucky neighborhood was brutally assaulted by falling timber. "Treants! Crush the human invaders!" Neighbors being neighborly with chain saws. Trees screaming. 😱 🌲

Portland has decided beat cops are the new hot thing for Christmas, and will have them walking the streets of downtown in pairs, 10 am to 6 pm daily. Shop owners would probably prefer 24/7. A young couple thought cops with guns on their hips wasn't in keeping with the holiday spirit. So very PDX.

#Tesla shut down their PR department & now sell cars without radar. To save $, the cheap billionaire created cars which get false positives, causing the car to slam on its brakes in traffic. One woman had it happen more than a dozen times. One person has died from being rear-ended. Those cars are dangerous. Any of them on the road is too many of them. It started with 2021-2022 Models 3 & Y. The drivers in the news segment are too enamored to sell their potential death traps.

Target announced it will be closing 9 stores across the country, they say because of violence and theft. 3 of those stores are here in Portland, one in Galleria, one in the Hollywood district, and one in Southeast Powell.

last Nov. voters passed Measure 114, a set of gun control reforms that have to do with background checks, permits, and large capacity magazines. It's been held up by legal challenges since. Yesterday, the most recent trial against it finished and we're waiting for a decision.

The owner of a local bar and grill was robbed recently in the St. john's neighborhood. The security footage shows a man threatening employees with a machete. Right now police have not identified a suspect and are still investigating.

According to the Portland Police Association, a settlement has been reached in the lawsuit brought by frmr Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty against the union. So far no court docs have been released with settlement amounts and Hardesty hasn't responded to KGW's inquiry.

This Oregon veteran has his veteran disability benefits fraudulently stolen right out of his Direct Express account. Initially Direct Express said the charges looked clean. It took KGW asking questions for them to say they'd give the fraudulent charges another look, and refund him.
