For many an increase of well-supported #SocialPrescribing is a key to addressing #mentalhealth problems among our young.... but research indicates that for the vulnerable & hard to reach, this is best carried out by people & #keyworkers the child already knows.
So rather than a whizz-bang new strategy & feasibility studies of new institutional responses, if we are going to makes social prescribing work better, we need to ramp up funding to expand the existing provision!

Given the #Tories callous disregard for the wellbeing of other #keyworkers (except to piously clap for them, of course), it can be no surprise they'd show a similar disregard for the key workers of pollination - #bees!

Lack of #renting 🏚️ in the UK is impacting families, #keyworkers, #NHS, local economies and yet the #Tories still infatuated with Thatcher's #right2buy policies keep giving away money to chummies who are supposed to build #socialhousing & end up selling stock privately 'to balance books'.
One figure: the UK government's own target of building 90k/year of #socialrenting units is met by a delivery of... 6,500.

More 'outdoor relief' for the professional classes, as the UK Govt. abandons limits on budget allocations to #consultants... so while budgets cannot afford #inflation matching pay for #keyworkers, the heavily padded expenses of outsourced 'experts' are just fine
Its a a bit like advertising; we might easily conclude that half of all money spent on consultants is wasted, but the problem is we don't know which half... but now is not the time to be relaxed about such wastage!

Let's link the pay rises of #nurses, #paramedics #RailwayWorkers and all the other #KeyWorkers to that of #MPs. MPs have had a 28% pay rise since 2010 so let's apply that across the board.
