I got an #upgrade today to #KDE 6.2. I’m always a bit wary of upgrading the desktop in the middle of the working day because the behaviour may be unpredictable because of it. However, at first glance this is looking good. A detail that I like is that you can now map the #buttons on the #pen for my #WacomTablet to #MouseButtons as well as #KeyStrokes.

New acoustic attack steals data from #keystrokes with 95% accuracy
A team of researchers from British universities has trained a #deeplearning model that can steal data from #keyboard keystrokes recorded using a microphone with an accuracy of 95%.
When #Zoom was used for training the sound classification algorithm, the prediction accuracy dropped to 93%, which is still dangerously high, and a record for that medium.
