Impact of #MMT theory of value

Once uppon a time, there was a lie to maintain the argument, that salesmen are making the money and #workers are not involved in creating value anyhow.
When this lie collapsed, they came with another lie (called #Keynesianism)
When this lie collapsed, they came with the next lie (called #Neoliberalism)
Now the bourgeoise predominantly white race has invented another lie?
Meanwhile 50% of energy is consumed by 10% of the people, of which 90% are white.
The poor global south will suffer first and most of #ClimateChange effects.
The #IPCC suggests tax paying to be used for the green transition and refers to papers of a lot of MMT thesis supporting scientists or in other words:
The global white and rich north, that looted the word for centuries don't want to pay a single tax cent, if so just to provide credits with "low interests" to the global south.
So in this sense, I don't believe MMT has good intentions, but to keep on lying and maintain white wealth and the idea, that wealth is just an imagination and unrelated to western armies and companies around the world that keep on killing and looting.
The stability of the #Dollar is foremost a condition of violence. The more violence you can apply, the more stable it appears. For sure I know, that many countries profit to a certain extend from a stable currency. And so everyone plays he wants to align with the rich. (why else does nobody act on #Gaza)
According my value theory, #Biden does the right decision giving #Israel direct access to its weapon stockpiles.
The reason is: To maintain #value! Is this already MMT? 🤔 No it isn't. MMT is just as blind as the other theories.

b: all (ALL) Govts tax & spend - its what the state does; Blair's warning is really a warning against #Keynesianism!
Given that some sort of Keynsianism is pretty much the only long-term economic strategy that (despite what rightist economists think) can make a claim for historic success, Blair seems on the side of the sado-monetratists!

The New Deal era concessions that socialists and communists won from liberals like FDR and other Keynesian reforms, built the strong middle class the Right likes to romanticize. They hate hearing it.
Either way, those concessions have been rolled back by our neoliberal leaders and now we are in a state of capitalism which is not working for most.

@dan613 I was 16 when I started studying #Economics and learnt about #Keynesianism - it immediately made sense to me - spend government money to invest to multiply the effect. It is a human response to economics.
This was at the height of Thatcherism and the new ideas about #monetarism and #mefirst so I realized then I may be a swimmer against the tide!

At one point in the paper they put 'educated' in inverted commas, stating how the #education systems are failing against mythical #economicNarratives like 'growth can continue forever if it's in #serviceIndustries', or '#technology can save us'.
They're right, #perpetualGrowth itself is delusional, and its great to see them specifically target the 3.5% number #Keynesianism clings to. It doesn't delve into the #moneyPump specifically, which is unfortunate.

Keynesianism is very efficient at producing #uselessJobs.
People in uselessJobs are a bigger drain on #society than the #unemployed, who often add to the #informalEconomy or #volunteer for a fraction of the income of the person undertaking the uselessJob.
The person performing the uselessJob is often paid very well to enable them to travel vast dististances and engage in activities to help them manage the pain of knowing they don't have a real job.

Bailouts are rebranded #keynesianism.
Keynesianism is rebranded #inflation.
Inflation is rebranded #moneyPrinting.

An obsession with 3% growth is an obsession in doubling every 21 years.
That's a #doubling of either #consumption or #financialisation (read the latter as #monetisation).
And #monetization is someone (today, disproportionately #BigTech) gaining economic #rents from something.
Imagine if we had a complete crash and people simply focused on maintaining, preserving and helping.
This world terrifies #oligarchy.
They use #keynesianism and #inflation to drain us.

Wondering if there is a specific gene related to a person's propensity to accept #keynesianism and #infiniteGrowth.
An obsession with increasing numbers is an #illness, but such an #obsession is baked into #KeynesianEconomics, which obsesses over 3% #growth.

Its good that you do that. We run various tests ourselves. A lot of kids have no idea what is going on. That's okay because some are only teenagers or early twenties, but some of them can vote so you have to try to instill some sense of responsibility.#Keynesianism as a response to #priceStickiness in #classicalLiberalism was a mistake. Breaking up the #monopolies that aggregate immense wealth into few hands would've been better, a bit of that happened, iirc, but maybe more.

All these ill-effects of #Keynesianism just because of some so-called "#stickiness" of the #wages?This #wageStickiness would only happen in a large corporation where you don't see the indiidual sacrifice and effort of the #businessOwner.
#SmallBusiness and medium-sized businesses would not have the stickiness problem mentioned, and simply justifies the notion of "#TooBigToExist".

In its day nobody was environmental so would not hold that agenst the theory, the updated system, that people like George Monbiot talks about would be #brightgreen which is as you say capitalism warmed up so better but no solution. The videos cover the 20th century from the view of this fight inside the power politics crew.
