My August round up post is now up. This past month I released a free new #Mac app, some AI and #KeyboardMaestro blog posts, three new #Alfred workflows, a new #Obsidian vault for a particular population Mac podcast, and a new #Nova editor language extension. In this post I also talk about a couple of new pieces of hardware and some apps you (not just Mac ones) you might want to cast an eye over. Anyone else had a busy August?

Dzisiaj przygotowałem dla Was nieco krótsze i nietypowe wideo, w którym chcę zaprezentować potęgę automatyzacji na Macu. Bierzemy na warsztat aplikację Keyboard Maestro, która od lat ułatwia mi codzienne obowiązki i oszczędza mnóstwo czasu.
Na konkretnym przykładzie z życia pokazuję, jak zautomatyzowałem niezwykle żmudny proces zmiany formatu nazw kilkuset starych odcinków naszego podcastu Nadgryzieni. Wykorzystuję do tego prosty skrypt monitorujący schowek systemowy, który w ułamku sekundy samodzielnie modyfikuje skopiowany tekst za pomocą wyrażeń regularnych i wkleja gotowy wynik. W materiale tłumaczę również, dlaczego w tym konkretnym przypadku nie odważyłem się oddać pełnej kontroli nad bazą danych autonomicznemu agentowi AI i w jaki sposób odpowiednio zbudowane makro udowadnia w statystykach, że zaoszczędziło mi już kilkanaście dni ciągłej pracy.

Configured #Gotify in a #Docker container last week and so far have it set up to receive notifications from my #Proxmox nodes, #Dockhand, and Ping (an uptime app which watches my services from the macOS desktop).
A few of my #KeyboardMaestro macros publish alerts to the desktop, and I'll be re-routing those to Gotify as well. This will allow me to receive the alerts across all my devices. #SelfHosting

I just put together a neat #keyboardmaestro shortcut that does the following:
- Hit keyboard shortcut
- Pulls link to current item via #Hookmark
- Creates an #OmniFocus task with the title of the item and a link to the item in the notes.Feels super handy fo me. I feel like I should create a blog for all of these little sidequests.

I've made a #Keyboardmaestro macro that allows me to get a transcribed clip from a timeline imported from #Resolve and match it back to the original multicam file in #FCPX :))
30 keystrokes replaced by one!
This would be impossible with Resolve itself as it's not as driven by keyboard shortcuts as FCP!
