CW: Yet more #StarWars editorializing
Yes, the predictable fan service scenes were there (Han meeting Chewie, Han making the #KesselRun, #Han winning the Falcon from Lando etc), but none of them happened quite how I expected, and they served a larger story, rather than vice-versa. Yes, the train job was lifted straight out of #Firefly, but it wasn't just a pointless joy ride, it served a narrative purpose, and gave us both beautifully paced action, *and* emotional punch as the job went off the rails
