Let's neglect for a moment the #Nazi-inspired racial hate #propaganda that the movie '#KeralaStory' is. The fact that it got any award, much less 2 #NationalFilmAwards would have been a laughable clownery, if it didn't represent the frighteningly blatant politicization of public instruments in pursuit of communal strife. I have seen better direction, cinematography and acting from amateurs on YouTube. This is a tight slap on India's rich cinematic legacy by philistine hatemongers.

The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed the West Bengal government's May 8 order banning the screening of the movie, "The Kerala Story". The theatres in the state will now be free to carry out the public exhibition of the controversial film. A bench headed by CJI Chandrachud said it is the duty of the state government to maintain law and order as the film has been granted certification by the CBFC.
