I burned through over 3 gigabytes of an MTN data plan pulling the entire release archive because fans screamed for a decade about this bottomless pit of despair.
They lied.
The fanbase took the bloodbath of the Eclipse and hallucinated that trauma over the next five thousand pages.
I am staring at Volume 26 and Guts morphed from the Black Swordsman into the Black Babysitter.
This supposed suicidal maniac drags around a high fantasy daycare roster wearing plot armour thicker than a slab of iron.
Worthless demons chew up nameless background peasants while Farnese and a slapstick elf walk away without a scratch.
Kentaro Miura just took the source code for Naruto, Bleach, and Dragon Ball and recompiled it with heavy ink crosshatching.
I wasted my money and my bandwidth downloading a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons run.
Bei #Berserk (1990-2021, derweil Fragment) von #KentaroMiura nun zwei Drittel durch — 14 von 21 Max-Sammelbänden, ca. 6000 von 9100 Seiten.
Bin hocherfreut, zu welcher Vielfalt sich dieser Anfangs arg düstere #Fantasy-Garn entwickelt hat; weiterhin ein wenig verblüfft, dass dieser #Manga mit seinen z.T. krassen Sexgewalt-Szenen im Mainstream mit ›Leseempfehlung ab 16‹ läuft. Ohne glühende Empfehlungen weiblicher Fans hätte ich mich gar nicht an dieses Riesenwerk rangetraut (allein die Kosten).
»#Berserk« von #KentaroMiura am Stück lesen ist wie bei allen Manga-Epen völlig crazy. Bin jetzt mit Prolog (»Der Schwarze Ritter«) und dem ersten Akt (»Das Goldene Zeitalter«) feddich, also 2604 von ca 9100 Seiten.
Prolog schmeißt die Lesys 633 Seiten einfach mitten in die Story um einen Typen mit Brandmal der von Geistern verfolgt wird und gegen Dämonen und höhere Erzteufel kämpft. Dann gibts eben ca 2000 Seiten Rückblende zu Herkunft und Lehrjahre, und was das alles soll.
Goil aber auch Uff.

Ich geb zu, dass ich selbst für meine #Inhaltsverzeichniswahn-Verhältnisse a bissi plemplem.
Bin jetzt — in meiner Zählung — bei Kapitel 47 (»Kämpfer im Abendlicht«) von 314.
Ach ja: auch so eins dieser Riesenwerke, die wegen der Unbillen der Echtwelt bisher Fragment geblieben sind, weil Schöpfer ist über der Arbeit gestorben. Sein Team macht wacker weiter, aber des dauert alles.
5 Bände a 400 Seiten »#Berserk« von #KentarōMiura am Stück lesen, und ich muss mich nun arg daran erinnern, dass ich nachher beim Lebensmitteleinkaufen niemanden den Schädel einschlage, bzw. vergewaltige.
#Berserk von #KentaroMiura lesen — #TeamPuck, falls ihr euch fragt — und dazu »Lionheart« (1987, super Soundtrack, Film eher so meh-egal) von #JerryGoldsmith lauschen.
Rücksturz in meine Teengemütslandschaft läuft … sach ich mal.
