I'm personally not a fan of these blanket bans because I feel like kids don't have enough available to them but if a park is going to do this I do appreciate them setting the age to only include those unable to drive.

And when I say that I saw the impossible and the improbable on our amusement park trip last week, I mean we went to #Kennywood and saw both Kenny Kangaroo working the crowd _and_ had a walk-on ride to the Exterminator roller coaster.
I talked to 7 classes about my job today and played library bingo with them for half an hour each. I have a baby storytime tonight with a reception after. Also, I wore the wrong shoes and have blisters on the bottoms of my feet and it is pouring down rain like it’s a #Kennywood day.

The Old Mill is done with some time to spare to sit out and give off spooky vibes for the season!
I love this thing! It is based on the ride of the same name at Kennywood. One of my favorite rides ever and certainly my favorite genre of rides: dark rides.
I even got a spooooky red led for added atmosphere. The last picture is special black light mode!
Next building for the village is the train station.
Finally getting quite close to finishing the Old Mill! The sign is done other than the supports and the rest just needs final details.
It's not a whole Halloween village, but it's also not Halloween quite yet! I might have another building in me 🎃🎃🎃🎃

Jackrabbit at @kenny_kangaroo is the park's oldest operating roller coaster, opening in 1920. Designed by John A. Miller, the coaster famously features a rare 70 foot double dip drop as its main ride feature, using the terrain of the park to thrill guests.

Those trees are gone today. And the coaster is white. But that walkway is still the main concourse through the park.

Steel Phantom was an Arrow Dynamics roller coaster that opened at @kenny_kangaroo in 1991. The ride featured 4 inversions and had the rare distinction of the second drop on the ride being the longest.
The ride was closed in 2000 and redesigned by DH Morgan Manufacturing. The redo featured removing all 4 inversions, lengthening the second drop, and new car restraints. She operates today as Phantom's Revenge.

17. Phantoms Revenge - @kenny_kangaroo
I don't know if you should give #ArrowDynamics more credit for one of their best designed hyper coasters ever, or Morgan Rides more credit for improving the coaster in 2001. Either way, Phantoms Revenge is one of the best roller coasters to come out of the 1990s. It's still a fan favorite for park visitors.
