With Kennedy not running anymore I am again left with no suitable (imo) presidential candidates to vote for. Guess I need to find a country to live in where citizens have more variety in presidential candidates. Not that many countries allow immigrants to vote, but still.

Both parties are equally beholden to the arms, energy and pharmaceutical industry lobbies and cannot do otherwise than work to their benefit.
The only way to break the chain is to vote for an independent.
Check out the policies of RFK Jr. and see if they sound more rational. I wish I could vote for him. His numbers are higher than Trump and much higher than Biden. We shall see if it becomes a race between Kennedy and Trump or Kennedy and Harris when the next poll results come in.

@stevesilberman Both parties are captured by the same exact corporate interests. By design. The only hope for America and the rest of the world is to vote independent and vote for rational solutions that do not require half of the citizens to be wrong. A country should fix everything and anything possible where all people are in agreement and keep discussing those things that people are in disagreement until a universally fair solution is found.
Using the bully power of 51% of the media indoctrinated people to force the 49% to do what the media wants is horrible. If the media is taken out of the equation then most people want to do the right thing and be left alone and will leave others alone. The mainstream media in the hands of just few billionaires is used to divide people on mostly irrational, irrelevant, non political and emotional grounds into opposing caps that think they have nothing in common with each other.
If you actually want the medical system to be fixed the only small chance is going to be RFK Jr.
Check his policies, and decide which other candidate has the same priorities.

Latest polls show Kennedy has 19% overall with up to 30% in some demographics. That is not bad for someone that the media wants to pretend is not relevant.

I would say he has said something mainstream in each of his policies that neither of the other two candidates will discuss.
In any event in your personal opinion which of the policies is the worst that he has said that is rubbing you up the wrong way?

I like most of what he is offering and with him in office the USA might even be an attractive place to live.

@samohTmaS You use the singular when you write "wholly unreliable source" so I have to assume you are talking about Jennifer Margulis. which is a rather ad hominen sort of attack that I did not expect you to stoop to. How about you have a look at the half dozen papers that she refers to and see HOW MANY of them you can improve on. Show your readers that you have the specific skill to refute the studies instead of stooping lower than you would like others to when referring to you.
On the other hand if you insist on only doing half of the process of debate and failing to provide any relevant facts to support your position it places you into the less than charitable positions of someone who is willfully or inadvertently ignorant of the facts or worse yet for some reason deliberately not challenging the offered facts because you know them to be true. I hope the latter is not the case with you.
In any event if you want to know how the experts from the pro vaccine lobby who DO KNOW BETTER lie and avoid facts you will be able to read and then attempt to debunk the following twitter exchange. Perhaps it did not happen or perhaps the specialists simply do not understand what an inactive substance is. The beauty of a discussion where there are sourced facts is that you CAN go and check them for yourself. I look forward to reading your primary sources for your rebuttals.
As for Jennifer, she is still in favor of the 'good' childhood vaccines but given at wider spacing if I understood her position correctly, however she follows the facts and may become anti-vax one day.
On the other hand Aaron Siri has read enough to know that the rest of the vaccines too have no official safety trials and believes like RFK Jr. that they should be tested in proper trials . The pro-vax champion Paul Offit on the other had lies and later changes his posts to cover his rear and invents new terminology to try and whitewash his lies. That is not very sporting and it is also DANGEROUS because he is lying about safety of our children.

@KarenStrickholm I would be classed anti-vax and find his position of insisting on safe vaccines TOO TAME. Time will show that there have been few useful vaccines. A growing number of studies are confirming the position that while SOME vaccines MAY reduce ONE disease they reduce the health of the sample population to below that of the control arm. Years ago a study showed the unvaxed had lower pediatric costs, numerous covid era studies have confirmed that the never vaxed have less covid and no vaccine harms (now reluctantly admitted) and now recently a large group were followed and the health status of the vaxed was lower. So perhaps he will come out and say what he really thinks about vaccines after the elections but is right now providing some small hope to people who want to believe that vaccines have saved lives. Right now he is not anti-vax even if the MSM tells you so.
He admits that he had a parasitic brain worm and suffered memory loss, yet he can quote more legal precedent and facts that I think his memory is better than the other candidates.
As for dynasties, I don't much like them either but what the media is making good mileage out of is that a large proportion of the Kennedy DYNASTY is PUBLICLY AGAINST his candidacy. He says it is ok and attributable to their positions in the Biden administration but there is no way for us to know just where propaganda and truth meet when it comes to personal opinions.
If I could vote in the USA I would vote for any candidate that is not from the Uni-party and if I had a choice it would definitely go to someone like RFK Jr. While there are a few policies he has that cause him loss of face (I think he is too lenient on Israel brutality from before) but I cannot blame him for holding those positions before the elections yet hope he will move with the facts if he is elected.
The fact that he is the MSMs enemy would be enough to make him my choice but everything he says also makes sense.
Also it is important to figure out that he has won law suits that confirm his environmental, glyphosate, vaccine positions so he KNOWS what the facts are while the other two are simply parroting what the party leadership tells them to say.

@textualdeviance If I could vote in the USA I would probably vote for any independent. Both main parties are totally captured by the lobby industry and have afforded nothing good for the citizens. The fact that followers still think that one must be good and 50% of the population is stupid or mean spirited is crazy, the fact that the people who fall into the stupid and mean spirited camp keeps changing regularly should provide a clue that the topics to divide people are selected and promoted so this will happen.
Both DJT and JRB Jr. have had a chance to clean the swamp, save money, end wars, improve immigration yet there has been no substantial improvement. What are they even offering, RFK Jr. at least has a pretty clear set of goals and promises and has the backing of a lot of people to achieve them.

The answer is uncomfortable. In large part, it is U.S. policies that create desperate conditions south of the border. The War on Drugs is one. U.S.-funded dictators, juntas, paramilitaries, and death squads. Neoliberal extraction of resources. Unpayable debts. It is inhumane and hypocritical to deny immigration while creating the conditions that drive immigration. As President, I will change these policies. That’s the only long-term solution to the border crisis.
