Has anyone worked out how to get KenkuFM running on NixOS? The official builds use dynamic libraries and I’m not savvy enough with the nix config (yet) to work this out by myself.

As it stands, my current sound board / music needs are closer to what is offered by #KenkuFM + #Discord than #Farrago. That combination does require a bunch of complicated setup, including #AudioHijack and #Loopback — at least if I want to pipe in anything not already handled by KenkuFM.

Came across #KenkuFM while looking for posts related to #OwlbearRodeo. It pitches itself as "Online tabletop audio sharing for Discord", which seems like a handy thing for online gaming.

@JazzDude Its quite possible if you use a solution like #kenkufm for audio sharing. But you will lack the ease of character/rule management and of course some more little features.

But its totally feasible and fine if you want to stay minimal.

Just set up a Discord server for my upcoming #BladesintheDark game! I got #kenkufm running to allow me to play music from my PC (soundboards / Spotify / YouTube) into Discord. I love custom DJing a set for each game session, and with this I can do it live in response to where the game is flowing rather than just playing a playlist. Thanks Kenku.fm! (Also thanks to the mastadon users who turned me on to Kenku)
