25 ANS ET TOUJOURS PRISONNIÈRE.
Hier, lundi 1er juin, Wikie a fêté ses 25 ans. Un âge symbolique.
C'est l'âge auquel son frère Inouk est mort.Un âge que n'ont jamais atteint ni sa mère ni son père, tous deux capturés dans l'Atlantique Nord pour alimenter l'industrie des delphinariums.
Et pourtant, Wikie est encore là. Toujours captive. Toujours enfermée. Toujours privée de l'océan auquel sa famille appartenait.

Les parents de Wikie ne sont pas nés dans un bassin. Ils vivaient au large de l'Islande, dans l'Atlantique Nord. Puis ils ont été capturés et arrachés à leur famille.
Sa mère, Sharkane, n'a jamais surmonté ce traumatisme. Les anciens soigneurs ont décrit une orque profondément perturbée, répétant inlassablement les mêmes comportements, prisonnière d'une détresse dont elle ne s'est jamais remise. Elle est morte avant d'avoir 25 ans.
Son père, Kim II, lui aussi capturé dans la nature, a passé de longues périodes isolé. Lui non plus n'a jamais atteint cet âge.
La captivité a détruit toute sa famille.Au fil des années, Wikie a vu disparaître ceux qu'elle aimait. Sa mère. Son père. Puis Moana, son fils. Puis Inouk. Tous victimes du même système.
Aujourd'hui, il ne lui reste plus que Keijo. Son dernier fils. Celui qu'elle protège encore. Celui pour lequel elle continue de se battre.UNE AUTRE VOIE EXISTE
Lorsque la loi française a annoncé la fin de la captivité des cétacés en 2021, nous avons immédiatement cherché une solution.
Pas un autre bassin. Pas un autre delphinarium. Un sanctuaire.
Pendant des années, nous avons travaillé avec les équipes du sanctuaire de Nouvelle-Écosse au Canada.
Aujourd'hui, ce sanctuaire est en construction.
Et il attend toujours Wikie et Keijo.
Contrairement à ce que certains affirment, cette solution existe.
Elle avance. Elle devient réalité.L’ESPAGNE TIENT BON
Ces dernières semaines, la pression s'est intensifiée.
Le gouvernement français continue de pousser pour un transfert vers Loro Parque.
Mais pour l'instant, l'Espagne n'a pas accepté ce transfert.
Les scientifiques espagnols maintiennent leurs réserves et continuent d'estimer que les conditions d'accueil ne sont pas adaptées.
Cette position laisse encore une chance à Wikie et Keijo.
Rien n'est gagné. Mais rien n'est perdu.CE COMBAT PRODUIT DÉJÀ DES RÉSULTATS
Depuis des années, nous refusons d'abandonner Wikie et Keijo.
En 2019, nous avons contribué à empêcher leur transfert vers la Chine.
En 2024, nous avons bloqué in extremis leur départ vers le Japon.Depuis des mois, nous soutenons les scientifiques espagnols qui s'opposent à leur transfert vers Loro Parque. Nous nous mobilisons partout en France, devant les consulats, les ambassades et jusque devant le delphinarium de Tenerife.
Le sanctuaire canadien avance lui aussi. Nous avons travaillé pendant des années pour convaincre ses équipes, les communautés locales et les différents acteurs impliqués qu'une autre voie était possible pour nos orques françaises.Aujourd'hui encore, nos juristes, nos experts, nos vétérinaires, nos enquêteurs et nos militants poursuivent ce combat.
Rien de tout cela ne serait possible sans vos dons.

Fun fact: way way before Keijo!!!!!!!! was even a dream in the eyes of a mangaka, my brother and I came up with it and played it in a corridor in my house. It must have been... 1985? I guess?
It's good fun, though it does hurt. The technique is satisfying to pull off, too.

Recently I decided to rewatch some ecchi anime.
First one is Kandagawa Jet Girls. First time watched it in 2020 and give 7 score. After rewatching, I still think this is good, anime with cute girls and easy plot. It deserves 7 score. I can recommend it to watch.
Second is Keijo!!!!!!!!. First watched in 2021 and give 8 score. But after rewatching, my opinion changes. This is boring anime where 80% of jokes stupid and other 20% not bad. But last episode very good. In the end, I give 6 to whole anime and 8 to last episode. Can't recommend it.

The premise, by its description, sounds like a scenario you could fill with fanservice shots and lecherous males. You have moments girls kinda grab one another, that does happen, but since the action of the battles plays such a central role, and the competition is kinda brutal, it works. And you get a wide variety of cast to follow. #anime #keijo

Daichi Sorayomi est un mangaka que je suivais avec passion durant la publication de sa série frappadingue qu'est "#Keijo" (toujours rien en VA/VF) autour d'un sport complètement grotesque (tapez "Nostroblog Keijo" si vous êtes curieux.se et/ou téméraire).
Puis l'auteur a fait une autre œuvre d'une nullité abyssale et doté d'un fanservice ultra-beauf. J'ai cessé alors de suivre son actu jusqu'à ce jour où j'apprends sur son blog (avec un mois de retard) qu'il réalise une nouvelle série dans le genre de la fantasy.

⚖️ Suite à la mort d’Inouk, C’est Assez! a déposé un complément de plainte en réclamant la saisie des deux dernières orques, Wikie et Keijo, afin de garantir leurs soins et empêcher tout transfert commercial dans un delphinarium à l’étranger en attendant une solution de sanctuaire.

Rewatching Keijo after reading the manga makes me REALLY appreciate just how tight of an adaptation the anime was. They really picked the best spot to start the story to keep things interesting in action packed without cutting too much out of the story.
