I've come to the conclusion that the little Daihatsu Hijet 4x4 truck is closer to the defender than those things are. I'd be curious to know whether or not the intelligentsia thought my belief valid. Be as simple as possible and as robust as possible; the elegance of the defender for me was always that simple is robust, repairable, and comparatively low-cost if one aims to manufacture with good quality.

Very hard to pick just one. My focus would be something that can be imported into the states.The Pao and Autozam are really cool but if I was too pick one to own my current choice would be a HiAce van or similar.
