AI cannot make mistakes: Mistakes require intent, and slopware has none. Humans can erroneously think of “AI” as though an #LLM were more than a word guesser. Humans can mistakenly believe and distribute #slop. A human nearly started a war, because they mistook LLM output as something other than a statistically plausible prediction of what a military intelligence report about a given topic could look like.
