  1. #QSL card I found online recently for a reasonable price. I honestly had never heard of Novosibirsk before, (although I may have forgotten having read the city’s name in an old Tom Clancy novel 30 years ago). Turns out it’s a very large city with an interesting history. This #QSLcard from the Siberian town in the former USSR is for a QSO that happened on Feb 24th, 1984. #QSLcards #ke0fftQSLcard #KE0FFT

  2. Received 3 eQSL’s today from the ARRL CW DX Contest back in February: France, Italy, and Brazil. #ke0fftQSL #KE0FFT #QSLcards #QSLcard

  3. #VORW #VoiceOfTheReportOfTheWeek #QSLcard for a #ShortwavReceptionReport sent on November 9th, 2024 for the program broadcast on 4840kHz WWCR w/ 100kW power out of Nashville, TN. Program was received on a #TecsunS2000 , indoors, using the radio’s telescoping antenna and a 16ft wire extension. 4. I collect inexpensive #QSLcards from places I’ve actually lived or visited. I was in Rio de Janeiro back in the early 2000’s for Carnival. This is the latest addition to the #QSLcard collection, and I think it’s going to wind up being one of my favorites. I really like the design. This one was sent for a QSO on December 13th, 1958 - just over 66 years ago. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard

  5. I liked the current “Illinois” #QSLcards so much that I decided to have a whole other set of “Colorado” QSL cards made, so that I can send cards out (better late than never) to all of those contacts that I made from Colorado between 2015-2019. This is the front. My wife took that collared lizard picture on Serpents Trail in Grand Junction, Colorado with her cell phone. #QSLcard #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFTqsos

  6. It’s going to be a while before I find a QSL card for my #VintageQSLcard collection that I prize more highly than this one: A Radio Caroline QSL card postmarked 1967. #RadioHistory #QSLcard #RadioCaroline #Radio #PirateRadio #PirateRadioStation #AMradio #KE0FFTpirateRadio #KE0FFT

  7. Another acquisition for my quirky radio-related collecting hobby (vintage QSL cards from places I’ve actually lived or visited at some point in real life).

This card is from 1951 in the place where I was born: the naval base in Millington, Tennessee.

The sender was operating from Milington, and the ham he sent the card to lived in North Carolina. The distance between these two stations was approximately 468 miles as the crow flies.

  8. Got the #qslcard today for my first QSO outside of North America - to New South Wales, Australia - back on May 25th (May 26th UTC). A fun one to add to the collection. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFT10m #QSLcards

  9. Finally came up with a unique “Olney related” #QSLcard that I like - even though it is only on eQSL.com. I need to figure out what site I want to use to get some real #QSLcards made - ASAP. My printer is such a royal PITA these days that I don't even want to spend any time trying to figure out how to do it here. Credit for the pic goes to Jan Trabue. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFTqsos

  10. Added this vintage QSL card to my collection this week - postmarked Aug 4th, 1932 from W9DYW, who lived here in our current home QTH of Olney, Illinois, and addressed to W3WN, who lived in Maryland. I’m currently collecting a couple of older cards from the places that I’ve visited or where I’ve lived before. #QSLcard #QSLcards #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard

  11. Made my first #WINTERHEAT2023 QSO today. Both of us were mobile in O’Fallon, IL. Freq. 147.57 at 0831CST / 1431UTC.

Here’s a bit of fun #TruckerHam trivia for you. There is an O’Fallon, MO (off of I-64) about 37mi west of St. Louis, MO *and* there’s another O’Fallon, this one in Illinois (also off of I-64) about 18 miles *east* of St. Louis, MO.
