I can finally say I’ve upgraded successfully to #Fedora40. It was not without hassle this time and it started with what seemed to be a system that did not even give me a prompt after #rebooting, although the update process had seemed to go smoothly and quickly. Luckily, the virtual screens were working and so I could #login to a #shell. Although #sddm didn’t seem to be working, #kdm was and so I was able to open a desktop session, but only in #Gnome

I managed to clean up my second desk in the office enough to juuuust fit Kingdom Death Monster on there somehow.

Had some trouble getting rid of the White Lion in the starting encounter, but managed in the end with all 4 survivors alive, if only barely. Managed to roll a reasonable value for settlement size, even managed to roll an Intimacy event, but then immediately lost mother + child. Built a Skinnery and had brought back enough skins to craft one full set of hide armor.

Started this gladiator to see if I could figure out NMM and the rabbit hole was much deeper than I thought it would be! Lots of fun and learning here.

I still see a lot I could probably tweak forever, but also I'm very satisfied with how she came out, and I'm excited for the next thing.
