It’s been about a month since I have posted about my #shenanigans with setting up a gaming pc for the living room.
After some setbacks and what not, I think I have found the closet to my ideal software set up: #Fedora + #kdeplasma #BigScreen
Once the pc is on, I can pretty much handle everything from a controller.
Currently I have installed #Steam, #Luna, Itch.io, Epilogue’s Playback, #RetroDECK, and #Jellyfin; all are running great. -

It’s been about a month since I have posted about my #shenanigans with setting up a gaming pc for the living room.
After some setbacks and what not, I think I have found the closet to my ideal software set up: #Fedora + #kdeplasma #BigScreen
Once the pc is on, I can pretty much handle everything from a controller.
Currently I have installed #Steam, #Luna, Itch.io, Epilogue’s Playback, #RetroDECK, and #Jellyfin; all are running great. -
Just an idea for bugs.kde.org: For me using a non-English i18n setting for Plasma, it is very, very inconvenient to find the name of the correct component for filing a bug or feature request.
Have you considered something, where your component list can be switched to another language based on i18n data?

Bueno, hoy reemplacé Windows 11 por Kubuntu en una laptop que pasó de una experiencia lenta e inusable a funcionar muy fluída. Y además, le configuramos MeerK40t (https://github.com/meerk40t/meerk40t) para controlar una máquina de corte y grabado láser.
