And while we are at it: After playing #KCD2 (Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, a medieval open world game created by Czech game studio Warhorse Studios) we definitely had to visit #Kuttenberg (Kutná Hora) an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is a town where we have to come back to, since it was way too hot yesterday to actually enjoy the historic old town.
St. Barbara's Cathedral was super impressive (and cooling us down 🥵).

@heiseonline Ich hoffe sehr, dass #WarhorseStudios auch eine Art Easy-Mode einbauen wird. Nicht alle Fantasy/LOTR Fans sind Hardcore-Gamer.
Als mein Partner #KCD2 spielte, habe ich mitbekommen, dass das Kampfsystem recht gewöhnungsbedürftig sei. Ohne etwas wie einen Easy-Mode wäre es für mich eher nicht spielbar. -

Wczoraj skończyłem Kingdom Come Deliverence 2.
Grałem grubo po premierze, celowo, czekałem aż gra będzie stabilna i aż wyjdą wszystkie większe dodatki, tak aby nie musieć wracać do nich.
Ukończenie wątku głośnego, bez gnania przez fabułę, większości misji pobocznych i dodatków zajęło mi lekko ponad 120 godzin, co uważam za wynik rewelacyjny.
Cudowna była to gra, nie zapomnę jej nigdy i najpewniej niedługo znów do niej wrócę. Bawiłem się wyśmienicie, a na prywatnej liście najlepszych gier wskakuje na pierwsze miejsce.
Najważniejsze w tej grze są postacie. Nigdy nie spotkałem się z tak dobrze napisanymi bohaterami. Sztuką jest w kilku dialogach pokazać, że jakaś postać ma charakter, ma przeszłość, że jest za co ją polubić. Fabuła w tym wszystkim jest dopiero druga.
Grałem z czeskim audio, co było absolutnie fenomenalne. Każdy żart po czesku śmieszny dwa razy bardziej. 😅

We're seeing it now, AAA publishers should have taken note by now:
- #Expedition33: $10M, >7.5M copies
- #KCD2: $70M, >5M copies
- #ArcRaiders: $75M, >12M copiesSuccess comes from lean design and authentic hype, not feature creep or marketing stunts.

I am an avid #gamer
When I don't hike, I play. I had the chance to play #KingdomComeDeliverance2 only recently... And it was beyond good. The story, the characters, the roleplay. Everything. I honestly think that it's way better than Expedition 33, which won every possible award, last year, but I didn't like it as much as I loved #KCD2.
So here it is, my appreciation post. If you love #RPG and #gaming , this is a must-play. You won't regret it. -

Es gibt wenig, das ich mehr hasse, als wenn der Computergegner mit gescripteten Ereignissen bescheißt. Sowas kann mir echt zig Stunden tolles Spiel auf einen Schlag komplett versauen. 😤
Wenn die "KI" gut geschrieben ist, und ich einfach nur schlecht, meinetwegen (hallo Elden Ring), aber sowas nervt nur noch.

I recently picked up Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and I'm just blown away by the environment art! You don't need to find a cool spot with a waterfall or something, you can take a random screenshot and it's just peak! <3

Didn't realise the size was wider than our bedroom wall, so was unable to put up the tapestry, but it makes a great blanket since it's made of fleece 👍

I was pretty annoyed that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has a bug that breaks controller support if you stream it. However, I found out it looks and runs amazing on the Steamdeck!

It feels a bit unfair how many awards Clair Obscured got. Maybe it’s a good game, just not interesting for me due to combat system. But I also didn’t enjoy BG3. For me KCD2 is the GOTY, played more than 150h this year #kcd2 #thegameawards #thegameawards2025 #tga #clairobscur
