Reform UK had issued a leaflet ahead of May’s local elections last year, which claimed the party would “reduce waste and cut your taxes” – complete with a smiling picture of Nigel Farage. The party went on to secure a hefty majority.
#Farage was on Sky this morning saying he never promised to reduce council tax.

"When the Home Office was sending coaches to remove people from the 'migrant hotel' in Margate and sending them to the Bibi Stockholm he mobilised 100+ people to block the coaches, he did that several times, until Home Office eventually gave up"

Sorry if I am going on about #Cliftonville
but in May at the Locals last year Reform got 40% of the vote. and the Greens got 12%This year the #Greens got 39% of the vote
oh dear
This means that Reform, which once had 57 out of 81 #KCC seats now have 47!

Another #Reform failure !
The Conservatives were celebrating this morning after another by-election victory to #Sevenoaks District Council (SDC).
The Tories secured 44% of the vote to elect Tony Marshall in the Halstead, Knockholt and Badgers Mount (HKBM) ward. Reform UK came in second with just under 30% of the 1,273 votes cast with the Liberal Democrats some way back on 20%.

Members of Reform UK-led Kent County Council (KCC) voted 45 in favour and 22 against, with five abstentions to give themselves a 3.8% pay rise

This Thursday #KCC are going to debate #immigration saying the country is being "invaded"
I shan't be there myself, but I understand the meeting may get interrupted

Former Conservative councillor Marc àRattigan, who defected to #Reform UK in February, named as party’s candidate for Kent County Council by-election in Thanet
We do not wish him well
He has pledged to make the regeneration of high streets one of his top priorities, as well as road repairs and supporting parents of children with special educational needs whom he intends to turn back into chimney sweeps.
