#Farage was on Sky this morning saying he never promised to reduce council tax.

Sorry if I am going on about #Cliftonville
but in May at the Locals last year Reform got 40% of the vote. and the Greens got 12%This year the #Greens got 39% of the vote

This means that Reform, which once had 57 out of 81 #KCC seats now have 47!

Another #Reform failure !
The Conservatives were celebrating this morning after another by-election victory to #Sevenoaks District Council (SDC).
The Tories secured 44% of the vote to elect Tony Marshall in the Halstead, Knockholt and Badgers Mount (HKBM) ward. Reform UK came in second with just under 30% of the 1,273 votes cast with the Liberal Democrats some way back on 20%.

A Reform UK cabinet member, the dreamboat Matthew Fraser Moat, in charge of purging Kent County Council (#KCC) of waste and inefficiency has resigned after remarks suggesting the authority had “not made any cuts”.
Yesterday, Mr Farage said £100 million had been saved.

Kent County Council #KCC says it is set to save £40,000 by removing potted plants from its offices.
Maintaining the plants is "no longer a priority" and axing a contract for their upkeep would ensure resources were "focused on core services", according to council documents.
Reform won control of the local authority in May, promising to make savings.
Deputy leader Collins said: "I thought it was a lot of money to pay for plants and that is why it is being looked at.

The reduction from a 5% to a 3.9% increase in #KCC's Council Tax has come down to a reduction in service, not as was first thought a large donation of money - that was entirely my mistake.
My friend, Jessica, has gone through the doc comparing it to projections from last time. She believes, Adult Social Care and SEND budgets are slashed heavily
