    "The frost is all over" - Kate Rusby

    Folk singer Kate Rusby has made half-a-dozen seasonal albums. "The Frost is All Over", from 2015, is a collection of familiar songs in unfamiliar arrangements, and songs from her South Yorkshire roots.

    Kate's voice is backed by a brass section, with twiddling banjo and accordion. She evokes the pub singing tradition, people too rowdy for austere churches.
