I just left my local #AMC after watching #SongSunBlues co-starring #HughJackman & #KateHudson & I really enjoyed it.
It's based on a true story about a couple who starts a tribute act celebrating the songs of #NeilDiamond.
Kate was nominated for a #GoldenGlobe award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy &, while I only watched two (including this one) of the 5 nominated films in the category, I don't understand why she didn't win the award.
She was terrific in the role & the movie would have been nothing without her.
It's late in the season & the movie is about ready to go dark in the theaters but I highly recommend it and give it a 7 out of 10 for entertainment value.
Bring a handkerchief or tissues, in case you are moved by the film the way that I was.
