Anyone know if you can force an iPhone to .windowApplication instead of .windowExternalDisplayNonInteractive when connected to an external monitor, such as glasses.
I'm thinking:
1. Browser running a desktop user agent
2. Glasses such as RayNeo as external display
3. Bluetooth keyboard/touchpad input
4. Kasm workspaces -

hey you #docker fokes that have any relation to #kasm and kasm #workspaces . do you guys know of any accessible containers that are for the blind? i've tried a few of the regular ones, but in none of them, I couldn't get the orca screen reader to work. and obviously NVDA does not (and cannot) read the video feed. so was wondering. #docker #kasm #linux #blind

I've been looking for an OS in a Browser solution. After banging my head against Guacamole, I stumbled on #Kasm which was a very easy install. I'm still figuring out their philosphy around apps vs using a full OS in their workspace, and nothing is persistent, but it's very polished. #selfhosted

Trying out #KASM. (#Docker based #linux desktops in the cloud that can be accessed in the browser).
The concept is great but I am not convinced that the performance is good enough for serious work. I have a proper low-latency fibre connection and still that desktop feels a little sluggish.
When this would get "snappier", it would be a truly awesome solution! Still a nice project and I highly enjoyed fiddling around with it.

Well, after a lot of pulling my hair trying to figure out why #KASM Workspaces was not connecting via RDP to my #Ubuntu desktop VM, it turns out that there's an #ApacheGuacamole issue with the graphics pipeline that is the culprit. Oh well, at least the problem is not that there's an ID-10-t on my side. LOL

I've been playing a bit with #kasm - https://kasmweb.com/ lately - it's a pretty slick solution for self-hosting VMs.
Major downsides are a lack of isolation, both from inside a VM and between VMs. For example, Chrome doesn't run with any sandboxing enabled
Isolation is just what's provided out-of-box for Docker: not acceptable for multitenant and barely acceptable for single tenancy.

Aus dem Leben eines Bonsai-Sysadmins: Heute habe ich es geschafft, meine auf meinem Heim-#Proxmox -Server laufende #kasm Maschine über einen #sidedoor Tunnel auf meinen #yunohost Vps zu bringen und dort über einen Reverse Proxy abrufbar zu machen. Da kasm Standardmaßig über HTTPS mit einem self signed Zertifikat arbeitet, war das ganze etwas kniffliger aber im yunohost Forum wurde mir geholfen. :)

Installed #kasm workspaces. Um. I think. Never has anything of this size installed so easily, and so hard to break. Like download, extract, install, Change password, enable 2fa and done is done , i can remote access my servers vms webapps whatever. Plus, beside the #ce being free, the website has 0 focus on money.

I discovered that the latest version of #kasmweb supports a Workspace that's just RDP or VNC (kasmvnc) to a #VM (or a cloud VM). It was easy to configure and I am getting the same performance as when using #ApacheGuacamole.

Very powerful option to work from VR is using #KasmWorkspaces to open an #Ubuntu Desktop within the VR Browser. Works better with a supported bluetooth keyboard connected to the headset.
I am using a self-hosted installation, but
#KasmWeb has a cloud based option that is reasonably priced and should work great.I also tested using it remotely through a @cloudflare Access Tunnel, and it works just as great!

Browser extensions should be made to work in mobile browsers as seamlessly as in the desktop. That would actually make working from #tablets and standalone #VR headsets a lot easier without the need for a desktop.
Currently I can mimic this functionality with #Kasmweb but that still requires me to run #Kasm on a server somewhere.
