Last weekend, I went on a quiet November tour in the Karwendel near Hinterriß. The air was exceptionally clear, and I did not encounter a single person along the entire route. The view was dominated by the striking Falken Group, whose layered Wetterstein limestone stood out sharply in the low autumn light.

Eigentlich ist der 2102 m hohe Schafreuter ein beliebter Skitourenberg im Karwendel. Aber natürlich geht das auch zu Fuß. Am Sonntag war das Wetter noch einmal hervorragend, ich traf nur drei andere Wanderer und der Blick reichte bis zum Großglockner.

In diesem Fall ist nichts gröberes passiert, aber einen #Lawinentoten gibt es in #Tirol bereits. Der am Samstag Verschüttete bei #Hinterriss (#Karwendel) konnte heute gefunden und tot geborgen werden.

Heyo friends! My wife and me had a great day in the #karwendel today. I convinced her to try 800-900m elevation (as she didn't do a lot of hiking recently).

We took our time, enjoyed the views, took a lot of photos, watched chamois with my wife's new binoculars, took some rests.

And it all worked out well. 😍

Anyways, I like how the stream winds through the photo. I had to work a bit on the rock on the left so that it doesn't just look like a huge boring block.

Hi friends! I'm just back from a beautiful #hike in the #karwendel. My wife chose a trail to a hut that isn't open yet. So there weren't a lot of people on the trail. It was as windy as the last days. But we had a great time again. My legs are a bit sore from yesterday but well enough for such a day. 🥰
