The analysis by #lauratingle and #karenmiddleton here on why are the #greens doing this over a ‘small’ #alp change pretty much speaks for itself. #alp should be fixing the market warping #negativegearing and #capitalgains but instead the bandaid which like all previous bandaids suggest housing price increases with a minor benefit to a small group.
I think if #labor bothered with long term solutions, which they are responsible for, instead of short term bandaids, usually something the state can do, people may stop thinking of them as crap and the #greens would actually have something to support.
