#KarateKidLegends just seemed like a $ grab by producers with no new ideas. So, I haven't seen it yet.
IMO, the first #KarateKid (1984) is the best of the movies in the franchise that I've seen, which includes the 1st 3 (1984, 1986 & 1989 with Morita & Macchio & the remake in 2010 with Chan & Jaden Smith.
Never saw the 4th (1994) with Morita & a girl as his trainee which is considered the worst of the KK movies.
Doubt that Legends will be worse than the 4th or better than the 1st but I may take a look at it just to see what Macchio & Chan do in it.

More new finds last night. More photos from the #CruelSummer cast promo trip to Disneyland (so cute, though I wonder if they ate much of the #food. Lots of posing with it). Also some extra clips from the show and behind the scenes on the #tv show’s instagram.
They dressed younger in the first part of the show and, again, too cute. #SadieStanley was 20 and #GriffinGluck 21. Almost his last teen role. He passed for a kid quite well. She’s in the new #KarateKid movie.

#KarateKidLegends verspricht Legendenstatus - zumindest über seine Protagonisten. Innerhalb des Gefüges bisheriger #Filme der Reihe und der #CobraKai-Serienauskopplung, wundern Patrick und Daniel sich doch sehr, wer außer Ralph Macchios Originalcharakter hier eine wahre Legende sein soll.
Ansonsten ist dieses Sequel allerdings auch weit von legendär entfernt:

Después, tenemos un Earth Trek por partida doble. Primero Carlitos nos cuenta sobre su visita a Nueva Zelanda, en particular a una reserva de fauna y flora, y, porque esto es Perdidos, su paseo por la Tierra Media, visitando lo sets de Hobbiton de las películas de Peter Jackson, haciendo el Second Breakfast Tour. Seguimos con Eze, que nos lleva a pasear por el sur argentino, visitando lugares como Bariloche, el Glaciar Perito Moreno, y más. Warner Channel exibirá série de sucesso ‘Cobra Kai’ a partir de janeiro
A partir de janeiro, a Warner Channel começa a exibir as cinco primeiras temporadas completas da aclamada série de drama e ação Cobra Kai. A produção é baseada na clássica trilogia dos Anos 1980 Karate Kid e estrelada por Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List e Mary Mouser.
Trinta e quatro anos depois de Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) e Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) se enfrentarem, a rivalidade entre os dois ressurge quando Lawrence decide retomar sua vida por meio do infame dojo Cobra Kai. Esgotado e completamente falido, Johnny vê a oportunidade de treinar jovens socialmente inaptos – como seu vizinho Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) -, ajudando-os a se defender da hostilidade lá fora e transformando-os em verdadeiros campeões.
Daniel, agora um revendedor de carros de sucesso, tenta superar seus próprios desafios sem a ajuda de seu mentor, o Sr. Miyagi. Ao saber que Lawrence reabriu o centro de artes marciais, Larusso resolve fazer o mesmo e inaugura sua própria escola, na esperança de arruinar os planos de seu adversário. Embora tenham amadurecido de maneiras diferentes, os dois homens ainda são confrontados com os demônios do passado e as frustrações do presente e Cobra Kai se torna palco para esses conflitos internos.
