Kapucijners met Spek en Augurkjes
Ingrediënten: 1 ui, 100 gram dobbelsteentjes ontbijtspek, knoflookpoeder, kerriepoeder, 1 pot kapucijners, augurkjes Aantal personen: 2 Bak 1 gesnipperde ui met 100 gram dobbelsteentjes ontbijtspek, knoflookpoeder en kerriepoeder tot de ui zacht is. Voeg 1 pot kapucijners (uitgelekt) toe. Warm het geheel goed door. Serveer met krieltjes en schijfjes augurk. Eet smakelijk!

A very plain and simple #Kapucijners with #spekkies.
#FieldPeas (#PisumSativum var. #arvense) with fried #lard dice.
Usually served with spoonful of the fat that was rendered out of the lard.I think it traditionally was eaten with a bit of sugar syrup, though I preferred to eat it with a bit of curry-spiced ketchup.
