  1. Kapsule: it shipped and nobody died

"In my last post , I laid out the vision for Kapsule—a container-based extensibility layer for KDE Linux built on top of Incus."

I really like what's happening here. This might be of good use for other distros as well.

  2. Kapsule: Completing the KDE Linux Extensibility Story

"Just like KDE Neon got pigeonholed with the reputation of being "for testing KDE software," KDE Linux risks getting branded as "for developing KDE software only.""

  3. ... and thar she goes!

Now, using an Arch Linux container under #kapsule, I finally have #IHP up and running in immutable #kde_linux.

  4. Haskell IDE #IHP on immutable KDE Linux

    Whoa!
Having tried other container managers to no avail - while I must admit, that I am not experienced in that domain - ... with #kapsule I just got the #haskell IDE #IHP up and running with just two tweaks:
    profile add nixpkgs#direnv and
    profile add nixpkgs#gnumake

    And thar she goes :-)

March's issue brings the news that updates in Discover now show real numbers instead of just "unknown"; #Kapsule, the service that let's you persistently run whole systems in containers, is ever more integrated with KDE's other software; #Kup, KDE's backup tool, now comes preinstalled...

    ... And much more!
