It took us 2 hours to get to #AlorSetar from #Kangar using the old federal road thanks to floodings and traffic jams caused by the flooding. We travelled on single-lane dirt paths beside irrigation canals by the vast bendang padi of Kedah. We navigated our way to #KualaKedah before making our way to the Alor Setar South PLUS Expressway toll plaza.
Long drive through the countryside, but beautiful view.

The progress of the #KangarSentral project has reached 90% and is expected to be completed within a month or so.
The contractor will hand over the terminal to the state government in March next year.
#Kangar Sentral is an integrated #publictransport project, which will become a land transport hub in #Perlis.
